We are now looking for a Pattern Designer to join our Soft Goods team in Hillerstorp.

As a Pattern Designer you will drive the development of sewing- and pattern making at Thule Group’s Product Development Center in Hillerstorp. Your main focus will be towards our Juvenile, Pet and Tents products were you will be key responsible for one of our product groups, but you will also support towards other product categories. 

In your role as Pattern Designer you will be responsible for develop patterns, create technical documentation and lead the hand-over of soft goods design to our suppliers. You will work in close cooperation with the soft goods team as well as our project teams with the purpose of securing a high quality of soft goods and pattern design in our new development projects.  We have over the last years invested in a modern sewing workshop that allows us to quickly move from idea to physical prototypes at hand.

Your profile
You have an education within pattern making and/or a couple of years’ of work experience from a similar role. Furthermore you have a genuine interest for design and high skills in digital pattern making (Gerber or Lectra). To succeed in this role we believe you have good communication skills and a structured approach together with a can do attitude. Knowledge in CLO3D is a plus. We expect you to be comfortable in working with PLM-systems and that you easily can balance between multiple tasks/priorities and still consistently meet deadlines. You are fluent in English.
