Join our Global Product Development Department, with over 250 engineers, primarily based at our R&D Center in Hillerstorp, Sweden. Our cross-functional team is made up of skilled, motivated members with diverse expertise. In Hillerstorp, we've expanded with new offices, team rooms, creative spaces, and top-notch prototype areas, including a cut & sew and electronics lab.


What you´ll do at Thule

As a Sewing Technician, you will play a key role in developing our Adventure Camping products, including tents and related accessories. You will be responsible for sewing prototypes during the whole development phase. 

You will support development projects with your expertise in sewing and textile production efficiency, helping to refine designs and ensure high-quality outcomes. Additionally, you will provide feedback and documentation on best practices and process improvements.

In this role, you will work closely with our development team, particularly your colleagues in the Soft Goods department.

We have invested in a modern sewing workshop, equipped with multiple industrial sewing machines and a cutting machine. Our soft goods team includes soft goods leads, material developers, pattern makers, and sewing technicians.

 

What you bring

To be successful in this role, we believe that you have some experience in sewing and prototyping textile materials. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written, and proficient in Swedish.

Additionally, it´s proficient if you have knowledge of pattern construction, various sewing techniques, and handling industrial sewing machines. Experience in creating patterns is a plus.
