Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) - Electronics to Thule Group in Hillerstorp

We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to our Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) team within Procurement department in Hillerstorp. The SQA team is responsible for quality related topics towards suppliers. The team in Hillerstorp consists of two other colleagues with different responsibilities and the main responsibility for this position is to work with new suppliers and items within “Electronics” and “Lights & Cable”. The SQA team is a global team with colleagues around the world. You are responsible for securing supplier quality in to Thule Group factories by acting as a link between supplier and site operations. Supplier Audits, PPAP, Supplier Development Program, Issue Management for escalated issues are job tasks that are handled daily. A flexible mindset is a must to be able to fulfill the needs and demands required of a supplier to the automotive industry. You are familiar with the terminology used by VDA and IATF but also other tools (e.g. PPAP, 8D, DMAIC, etc.) relevant within the field of quality.

In this role you will be working closely with various department within Thule Group, such as Product Development, Manufacturing, Plant Quality and Category Management.

We want you to have an appropriate technical education, couple years of experience from working within similar positions within Electronics Quality, preferably within the area of Automotive. As a person you are methodical, structured and independent. Mandatory is good knowledge of MS Office and that you have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Swedish and English. This assignment is also requiring travelling on a monthly basis, mostly within Europe.
