As Thule Group continues to grow we offer you the opportunity to join our Engineering team at our Global Product Development Center in Hillerstorp, within our different product categories; Sports & Cargo, Packs, Bags And Luggage and Active with Kids.

In this position you will support our product development projects and R&D-engineers with results and analysis from tests and measurements to make sure that our products always meet the level of safety and quality that we expect from them.

In your daily work you will perform tests of components and complete products according the highest standards and demands from a local legislation perspective. You will work in close collaboration with our test team and manager for testing as well as other team members by planning and following up test results through the development process. You will also play a key role when it comes to creating test plans, translating standards into best practice test methods as well as developing new test methods.

As our new Test Engineer you are a curious seeker of new knowledge and comfortable in challenging set ways of working and old truths. You easily switch between deep analysis of regulation- and standard texts and the hands on approach of testing our products. Naturally you have a great technical interest as well as the ability to communicate and grasp higher level of the technical language. Former experience and proven success of testing is an advantage but most important is your interest in being part of developing world-class and high quality products. You have an academic degree in Engineering e.g. Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering, as well as fluency in English and Swedish.

About our Global Product Development Department

We have over 120 engineers working in our Global Product Development Department and to keep the momentum in successful product development innovation, most of our Product Development functions are in-house, such as project managers, industrial designers, concept-, design-, prototype-, simulation- and test-engineers.

Our team consists of highly skilled and motivated members with a well-balanced variety of experiences. We are a truly global company with an international and multi culturally mixed team. English is the language we use in our daily communication.
