The position
As a Pattern Maker you will drive the development of sewing- and pattern construction at Thule Group’s Product Development Center in Hillerstorp. You will work in close cooperation with the soft goods team as well as our project teams with the purpose of securing a high quality of soft goods and pattern design in our new development projects. Your main focus will be towards our Active With Kids products such as bike trailers and strollers, but also to give support towards other product categories. We have over the last years invested in a modern sewing workshop that allows us to quickly move from idea to physical prototypes at hand.
In this position your tasks will include responsibility for technical documentation of soft goods designs, continuous cooperation with design engineers and sewing technicians for a solid pattern development as well as leading the hand-over of soft goods design to our suppliers.
Your profile
You have a couple of years’ of work experience from a similar role together with a genuine interest for design and high skills in digital pattern construction (Gerber or Lectra). To succeed in this role we believe you have good communication skills and a structured approach together with a can do attitude. Knowledge in CLO3D is a plus. We expect you to be comfortable in working with PLM-systems and have knowledge and experience when it comes to the release of technical design documents. We also expect that you can easily balance between multiple tasks/priorities and still consistently meet deadlines. You are fluent in Swedish and English.

Globally we are over 250 engineers out of the majority is working in our Global Product Development Center in Hillerstorp (Sweden). Our cross functional team consists of highly skilled and motivated members with a well-balanced variety of experiences.
