We are looking for a Sewing Technician to join our Global product development team in Hillerstorp.

As a Sewing Technician at Thule, you are responsible for producing smaller pre-series based on 2D-patterns. You will support the development projects with your knowledge in sewing and textile production. You will also take an active part in planning material orders for the sewing workshop, based on the needs of the projects. In your role as Sewing Technician you will work in close cooperation with our development teams, especially your colleagues in the Soft goods team as well as other departments within our Development center.

We have invested in a modern sewing workshop with several sewing machines and a cutting machine. Today the Soft Goods team consist of Soft Goods Leads, Material Developers, Pattern Designers and Sewing technicians.

Your Profile
To succeed in this role we believe that you have at least five years of relevant experience in sewing and creating prototypes in textile materials as well as a high school education. You have good knowledge of pattern construction, various sewing techniques and can handle different industrial sewing machines. If you have experience of creating patterns yourself, it is a merit (we use Gerber Accumark). You have good knowledge in English, both written and oral.
